Every time you think you know what’s going to happen, suddenly you don’t. The tropes seem like your typical fantasy tropes, enemies to lovers, fated mates, secret powers, only one can save everyone… UNTIL EVERYTHING CHANGES and you are stuck on a cliffhanger with your heart ripped out and mascara running down your face (not like this is from experience or anything)

Yes it’s a long series. Yes there is some criticism for it being drawn out at times. No I don’t listen to that because I’ve never had a series physically and emotionally damage me like this one did. I LITERALLY DIDNT LEAVE THE COUCH FOR 2 DAYS. I was young when I read Harry Potter for the first time and it consumed my brain and was my only thought for a while but I don’t remember it being like this.
