Book 1 and half of book 2 kept me mildly entertained but there were a bunch of issues 😂 First of all there are so many structural issues with the plot and setting of this book.. What time of year allows for hockey games and surfing to all happen at the same time?? Def not where I live lol

Then we get into the characters, how old are they that they aren’t in school but still live at home but also play on hockey teams??? So confused unless they play on local or minor teams?? I felt like nothing was explained?

This series was fairly predictable, but the mini cliffhangers at the end of each book kept me going, along with the copious amounts of steam and the praise. Book 3 was actually painful and didn’t feel worth it though.
