If you are a romance girlie who likes some angst and a dash of fantasy this is the book for you. If you aren’t sure if you like fantasy, this is a perfect “toe dipper” because the world building and magic system is super easy and not complicated so you can jump straight into the plot and characters. And it’s the perfect tortured poets department read imo
