Far From The Tree

What a book!⠀

My mom recommended this one to me and it is one of my new favorite books. This story about family and adoption is truly beautiful.⠀

It follows three siblings that were all given up by their bio mom. Two of them, the girls, Grace and Maya were adopted by “normal” families and the boy Joaquin was never adopted. After Grace has a baby at 16 and gives it up for adoption, she wants to find her bio mom. Instead her parents help her find her two siblings and as they begin to get to know each other, they begin to learn what family really is. It isn’t easy, it’s messy, and it’s built on love not always just blood. No family is perfect and as these new siblings learn this, they also just handle some pretty difficult life challenges and lean on each other.⠀

This book was beautiful, wonderful, so well written, and just perfect. I loved the story concept, and the characters were so well written. The family units were entirely honest and believable and the story brought me to another place. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars easily!⠀

My six word review:⠀
Family means nobody is left behind⠀
