THE BOYFRIEND PROJECT was great. I buddy read it with @what.ems.reading and we had so much fun chit chatting about it when we finished it! We really enjoyed that it was a romance but there was so much more than just romance to it. Usually in romance novels the lead lady loses herself to her relationship but we loved that Samiah is such a strong, independent woman who can be in love and not lose herself and it made for a great book!⠀

I also admired the spotlight on women in tech because there is so few women in tech and Samiah is also a black woman in tech so she’s extra badass.⠀

We also talked about how it was fun that there was a sorta mystery aspect trying to figure out what David is doing/investigating. High profile tech crime and a handsome investigator? I’m so in!⠀
