THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME

The review backlist is real but I need to share my recent reads with you because I’ve had some fantastic 5⭐️ reads!

THE LAST THING HE TOLD ME had me hooked from page one! The suspense of the story, the slow bonding of a teenager missing her dad and her stepmom, and the slow uncovering of what the heck happened to Owen were gripping and I couldn’t stop. I was driving listening to the audiobook and I didn’t want to stop for gas, food, anything because I NEEDED to know what happened next.

I’m not a thriller reader, but this, this was good!

Hannah, the stepmom knew she needs to protect Bailey, Owen’s daughter. It was the last thing he told her. But she can’t help but follow this nagging feeling that something is seriously wrong and she is going to figure out what it is. As they travel around Denver uncovering who Owen (and Bailey) is, protecting Bailey remains the goal.

I loved this book so much. Watching Bailey and Hannah have to lean on eachother and become close, was adorable. I loved the mystery aspect of them sleuthing to figure out where Owen is. I was just hooked and can’t sing this books praises enough!

My six word review:
Best thriller I’ve read in years
