summer of ‘69 vibes
I’m pretty sure it’s the setting that makes Elin’s books always feel like summer but this one that takes place over the summer of ‘69 has all the extra summer vibes! It feels nostalgic (even though I wasn’t even alive lol) and just so full of those hot moments in history that made that summer so wild
Woodstock, the moon landing, the racial tensions, the war.. it was a hot summer for sure!
Told through the lense of a mom, her daughters, and her own mom, it was a super fun read and full of all the emotions felt during that time, and every summer
