I also didn’t “get” it was magical realism until 30% in, but it was a cool concept and I wanted to read more about how this magical aspect worked!

The romance was so rushed, and I get it was supposed to take place over 15 years.. but it just felt like it was a bit insta love!

Overall I gave this book 3 stars, the magical aspect was unique and the friends and side characters were amazing, but I couldn’t get past the insta love.
