Two CoHo novels in a day and a half wrecked me. Why did I do that to myself 😭😭 every single time I read her books I cry!
November 9th was no different. It was charming and I liked the way it only took place on consecutive November 9ths but we were able to figure out what had happened that year. This book to me was about love at first sight at first but by the end it had me questioning the idea of fate!
Fallon, former rising star actress and daughter to famous actor, was in an awful accident two years ago. It left her without a career or confidence, and destroyed her relationship with her father. Ben, is an aspiring writer with a secret of his own. These two 18 year olds chance meet after Ben saves her from a painful conversation with her father. After only a day together, they fall for eachother and promise to meet every year for 5 years on November 9th with no contact in between.
November 9th and their meeting acts as a way to cover the real pain of the history of that date. As they grow and contribute to meet, they are faced with some struggles that dot the pages of Ben’s book, and they may not overcome these.
I highly recommend November 9th! I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars! I couldn’t put it down.
My six word review:
True love endures tests of time.
