I finished MEET CUTE the other day and really enjoyed it! Kaitlyn is a badass lawyer, but on her first day of law school she had a run in with her childhood crush, a hot actor named Daxton. They had a little friendship blooming until he screwed her over for the first in the class spot.
A few years later Kaitlyn ends up helping his parents set up some financial trust information and they reunite. Unfortunately just weeks later, his parents are killed in a car crash leaving him the guardian of his 13 year old sister. Amidst custody battles, teenage drama, and navigating grief, Daxton begins to fall for Kaitlyn as she helps him navigate it all.
However Kaitlyns boss finds out, and wants her to poach Daxton to join their firm. If she can convince him, she will make partner. When Daxton finds out he feels completely betrayed and it threatens everything they built together.
This was a total meet cute and perfect for this love week!! I loved this book, it was so romantic!
