In the third installment in the From Blood and Ash series Casteel Da’Neer is still hot af.

If you swipe over you can read the summary but as a warning, it’s misleading. That doesn’t happen until the last 40 pages of the book. The rest of the book? It does drag in between the Poppy and Casteel scenes.

Atlantia does get a crap ton more world building and it is just incredible what Jennifer Armentrout has developed. I’d say this book is like 60% world building, 30% Casteel and Poppy, and 10% plot. Oh and just slather it in Poppy’s angst at who she is and where she comes from. I know I sounded like I hated the book but honestly I didn’t.

There is supposed to be more in the series coming sooo power through and if you’ve fallen in love with Casteel it’s easy to keep reading! I read it in like a day and a half because I just cannot put this series down or stop thinking about it.
