I recently discovered Ellie Alexander and absolutely fell in love with her books.. they are my kinda jam! I love a whodunit story, but sometimes I am not in the mood to be scared sh*tless. I’m easily spooked! I spent so many years being so serious, only reading textbooks and depressing news articles, so being able to just be pulled into a light mystery with a dash of delicious food and drink and a sprinkle of romance is a perfect recipe for me! There is so much detail in her settings.. she really takes you to the towns she writes about and oftentimes that detail is overlooked in so many books.
