I’m way too obsessed with love stories💗. It has given me an unrealistic expectation of my significant other (sorry babe😘!) and all the cute things we are not doing together because they only happen in romance novels.
Fix Her Up was another romance that swept me off my feet. It took me a few tries to start it, but once I got into it, I fell in love with the spunky characters and their steamy romance🔥! I also loved the way the women supported each other in this novel and helped each other pursue their dreams outside of the men in their life! 🥂 to girl power and romance in the same book!
I thought it was so cool this took place on Long Island, NY because that’s where I live!! It was a fun surprise when they are mentioning towns I know, and the final scene happens on the highway right at an exit I’ve taken many many times!
Don’t you love when you can connect with a book like that? It makes it seem so much more realistic, besides the ex pro baseball player falls in love with a party clown and changes his mind from sleeping around and being staunchly anti-family to wanting to have kids in approximately 3 months. I mean, that turnaround on those commitments alone makes this story barely believable! But that’s what we love about romance novels!
