I’ve avoided posting this photo for like two weeks because I hate writing reviews.

I said it.

I hate writing reviews. I love reading them but it always seems like such a daunting task to write a review. It never seems like it does the book justice and I always am comparing my reviews to others. Maybe it’s my depression and anxiety, or maybe I just get so stressed on doing it right I don’t enjoy it. So I’m making Bookstagram enjoyable for me by reading your reviews and appreciating them and writing them when I want. And writing only what I want to in the review.

So this is my first #notyourtypicalreview and unfortunately it isn’t a 5 star read. I usually love all things CoHo but this one fell flat for me for the first time ever. It felt a little forced and lacking. It was juvenile and inauthentic honestly. I originally rated it high but after more thoughts on it, I’m decreasing my rating significantly.

I still highly recommend CoHo but you can skip this one without missing anything.

My six word review:
Boring, forced, and just not romantic
