We see the best friend Amie from the first book have her main character moment but it starts out with a heartbreak! She married a jerk (Armstrong) who at their wedding reception cheated on her and it was caught on the microphones for everyone to hear!!!
In her rush to get back at him she hooks up with the first person she finds, Lexington, her douchy exes cousin and Bancroft from book 1s brother. And Lexington has some major hots for Amie, despite wanting to do the right thing by her
When they both end up in Bora Bora (Amie for her solo honeymoon, lex for work) they just can’t help but see what might be there between them
Again Helena brings the comedic relief in, it’s silly from a s*x toy carry on incident to the bacon socks, but the silly doesn’t take away from the steam, it adds to it!
10/10 this might’ve been my fave of the series!
