A few days ago, @julieoliviaauthor reached out to me and asked me if I’d be interested in reading her debut romance novel before it comes out on October 28th! I love romance novels, so I jumped at the chance, and I’m so glad I did! “In Too Deep” is a fun, steamy read. While the story does follow some expected plot lines, it was unique and well done. Your heart feels so warm and fuzzy after! I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars!
The main character, Grace is coming out of a not great relationship when she goes after her dreams and starts a new job as a designer at a marketing company. On her first day she manages to insult her new boss, Cameron, before she knows he’s her boss. As it happens, Cameron is coming out of a similar ending of a similarly not great relationship and after a drunk night, him and Grace become friends. Just friends, since he’s her boss 😉😉after all.
spoiler alert 🚨 obviously Cameron and Grace have the hots for eachother and after a few chapters of intense chemistry, things get out of hand. My favorite part of the story was reading both their perspectives on the other, and being attracted to eachother but constantly denying it (because he’s her boss!!) Once they had their first STEAMY night, it became a bit predictable, probably because we knew after that night they had to end up together😉!! Thank goodness they did!
