I was so excited for this book because I loved the first one so much but after seeing some so so reviews I put off reading it for a while. I finally bit the bullet and was unfortunately disappointed.⠀

I just didn’t feel the same connection to Rosie and Dominic as I did to Georgie and Travis in Fix Her Up. Their entire relationship was only sex and it just wasn’t enough to keep me wanting them together. I was sort of hoping they wouldn’t stay together because it seemed like sex was all they had and could talk about! Relationships are so much more than just sex!⠀

Eventually they started to talk a little bit (turns out they address that problem and see it as an issue) and I’m glad it was a happy ending because I love me a happy ending but it just didn’t hold me entranced. The sex felt a bit gratuitous because it was SO MUCH and there was not much else to the plot.⠀

I wanted to love it, because I love the author and I loved the previous book! It was fun to read but it just lost its appeal as a romance and was very much just smut. If that’s what you want this is perfect, but I tend to prefer a bit more wooing and romance before the smut!⠀
