What I loved
👩 Lead character Lucy is more mature, mid 40’s
🥐French countryside setting
🛠Renovating a failing hotel
💗Large cast of loveable and interesting side characters

What I didn’t love
❌Lucy was a bit uppity and it was annoying like of course the dilapidated French hotel that hired you to fix it isn’t a castle
🚫Romance was a little slow until it wasn’t and the speed changes were chaotic for me. Didn’t feel the chemistry much either. Honestly the pacing was a bit off overall. The beginning and end were the star
❓she had such an interesting backstory that needed more development

Overall it was so cute, made me want pain au chocolate the entire time, and felt just so incredibly sunny and cozy all at once!
