This morning I posted about how I was not feeling Evelyn hardcastle and I decided to try something else. Enter this book that’s been on my shelves for forever. And it literally took me like 3 hours I devoured it!
I love the royals and I’m also a lil American government obsessed so when the two came together in a diverse, empowering, romance I was HERE FOR IT! 👏👏👏 incredible *chefs kiss*
You’ve seen this book. You’ve probably read this book. If you haven’t you should. If you liked American Royals as much as I did, you will be here for this!! LGBTQIA+ representation as a nonwhite first son of a single mom PRESIDENT OMG!! If you are new here the other week I had a bit of a awakening as to how important representation is in literature, especially romance and this was just exactly what I needed to read to cement these beliefs! We are ALL deserving of love and affection. Every gender, shape, size, color, and sexuality DESERVES love and Representation in romance novels. We all deserve to see “ourselves” fall in love! Not just skinny straight white people (who also deserve love!!) I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars
