it’s like The Princess Diaries got a miniseries after a sequel. We want to watch it but it’s just never as good as the original.

Two workaholics with jobs that nobody *really* knows what they do (an equerry and a consultant) walk into a bar.. it’s the start of a bad joke or a boring Christmas book.. well except the walking into a bar part they don’t do that right away.

It might be the NyQuil (this flu going around is awful) it might be that I read this like 3 weeks ago, but I can’t come up with anything else to say about this book. I wanted to Love it and I think I did in the moment because it was one of my first Christmas reads of the year, but I just didn’t. I originally gave it 3 stars but am knocking it down to two.
