If you need a perfect spring book to whisk you away to an adorable small town, read Spring Tides at Swallowtail Bay. It’s themes of starting anew and growth are fit for the season and so comforting to read especially right now! I fell in love with the town and it was such an escape.

I thought this book was so heartwarming and happy! It really felt like spring full of new beginnings, friendships, and budding romance. This is a book series you can fall in love with quickly because of such great characters and I’m so excited to read the next installment in a few months.
Quick synopsis:
Fresh out of a divorce, Stella takes her dog Frank and her life savings to the small beach town of Swallowtail Bay and purchases a shop in town. It needs a little TLC, but she does too and in the theme of it all she begins to grow in this new town and truly bloom. She quickly befriends a fellow divorced woman and starts to feel welcomed in the town by all, except for Miles and his awful girlfriend. As Stella begins to heal and grow, she hits a few roadblocks like her ex husband getting married and some nasty rumors in town.
