I wanted to quit FOR SO LONG in this book. I was like “whyyy does this matter?!”

It took so long for anything to happen but then all the sudden it caught up, the plot thickened, and I couldn’t put it down. There’s a twist midway that I DID NOT SEE COMING and it broke my heart and had me intrigued.

If you are patient and can persevere this book is so worth it!! I adored the second half and while I could’ve done without a good chunk of the first half, I didn’t mind it as much at the end!

I loved seeing the girls friendship and then how things fell apart, and my heart broke for Mab at the twist! It was also so fascinating to learn about the inner workings of Bletchley Park and the code breakers!
